2012 Weird Face Sculptures

Ontario base artist Dale Dunning unites typography and sculpts to generate his intricately weld figurine and aluminum sculptures. The tinny masks are complete of hundreds of typefaces, similar to a metaphorical stamp. The correspondence that makes up every genderless face serves as a sign of message and information. The sculptor's creation varies in texture, whether they are present a network of fonts or a mend of thousands of bolts, screw, and washers. Dunning focus on the head with no the interruption of limbs and the rest of the body because the head itself is an emblem of the mind. He says, "The head is universally documented, easy to recognize with. We are alive in our heads, see, feel, and understanding the planet in our head. It serves as the foundation upon which I can develop an assortment of paths to explore.
